HI, HELLO! MY NAME IS WHITNEY.

I’m a Type 1 Diabetic — with a mission to help women feel less overwhelmed and more free in their T1D Journey.  And no, that doesn’t mean I’m picture perfect following a super strict diet, or unattainable lifestyle.

Basically I’m a happy, whimsical, problem solver with a burning passion to understand, support, and love my ever-changing immune-compromised body — I LOVE helping others do the same.

As an Enneagram 2, I am most in my element when I am serving and helping those around me. I love connecting others, and I am overly generous with my energy and motivation to bring someone out of space of uncertainty…and into space of hope and confidence.

I believe that you and I were created with a unique purpose, and I believe those of us with Type 1 Diabetes were given extra purpose, with extra possibility for our BLOOMS to be the brightest and biggest of them all.

Let’s get BLOOMING.

Testimonials:

“Working with Whitney has been a dream. She blew away all my expectations. This experience has been amazing. Within the first two weeks of working with Whitney I brought my A1C down from a to a 6.9. I feel confident in the tools she has given me and she has taught me to be love myself fully, and be patient/kind with myself. Diabetes is a frustrating disease and needs to managed with kindness — I have grown so much in the knowledge Whitney has taught me and the love that she gives. She really cares wholeheartedly about her clients and what she is teaching. The accountability she provides is everything I need…she really is the best and I LOVE HER.”

— Molly, M.

"...fast forward a couple weeks and Whitney and I have now had three coaching calls, which have not only been helpful with managing diabetes, they have been helpful with managing the day to day stressors we all encounter. She has an extraordinary amount of wisdom and knowledge to contribute to the world. I highly recommend working with Whitney to anyone who needs a positive light in their life to receive the support they are hoping for."

— Courtney, P.

“During this group I learned new things about myself and my body and how to listen to what it tells me, in a deeper way. Whitney encouraged us all to look at our individual strengths, as well as what goals we could each set for ourselves. It is true, if you give of yourself to whatever it is in front of you, you will receive much. This group is set up in a way that if you give, participate, ask questions, and ask yourself your purpose, you will get a lot out of these 21 days and you may surprise yourself as to how beautifully you will bloom."

— Colleen, T.

"I've felt extremely alone in my Type 1 Diabetic journey and my Endocrinologist has been far from pro-active. I never learned the basics of managing this disease and Whitney has helped me with almost everything I've needed to know. She's help me with proper carb counting, delicious recipes, and being gentle to myself when I've felt so frustrated and down on myself. Her accountability and love centered support has been a GIFT. Investing in her coaching and dedicated care is 1,000% worth it."

—Rene, R.

“Whitney did an amazing job organizing this group and making it a safe place to share or struggles as well as our successes. Definitely an amazing way to pursue better blood sugars, health and wellness.”

— Delaney, P.

“Specific results after this group, that I have seen was my A1C lowering. I had an average blood sugar of 112 for the 3 weeks that I did the challenge, and that made me feel AMAZING. Whitney is SO passionate about sharing her journey and it is inspiring to see. She has taught me so much and I'm so thankful for the opportunity to be part of this community.”

— Alannah, S.

“During this group I lost 6 lbs, mostly because I was constantly cooking at home rather than ordering food. I was having more fruits and vegetables and even conquered my fear of fruits! I realized eating food with less ingredients and also repetitive meals helps the body to digest the foods at ease instead of struggling. Thank you Whitney for sharing your knowledge!”

— Nikki, N.

In the diagnosis,

In the overwhelm,

In the constant trial & error,

In the uncertainty,

YOU ARE BLOOMING

THROUGH IT ALL.

—I promise.

As a problem solver and detective at heart, I’ve used being burned by the traditional medical community (and some of the online community), as fuel to unravel the ins and outs of true diabetes care.

I teach all of of my clients the power of:

Self Discovery — because most medical professionals only scratch the surface.

Consistency —

Accountability —

Regardless of where you are in your T1D journey: perhaps newly diagnosed, 10+ years of pancreas-ing, or somewhere in between…it can feel heavy, tiresome, and even bigger than us at times.

— This reality leaves you feeling:

defeated, overwhelmed, and burnt out.

Flower Power:

There are flowers that are edible and there are flowers that you would not want ingest, but because of their beauty, they feed the soul nonetheless. These flowers can also be human beings who make you smile at the sight of them, thus they have Flower Power. They are the inhabitants of Mother Earth who personifies the beauty of all that is good. Take notice, a person with Flower Power can be a healing source for your emotional well-being.

Blooming:

A bloom is a flower, as so are you.

“stay strong through your pain
grow flowers from it
you have helped me
grow flowers out of mine so
bloom beautifully
dangerously
loudly
bloom softly
however you need
just bloom”
